Grow, Dammit.

Grow, Dammit was created as a DIY grow your own fresh herbs at home. I wanted to go out of my comfort zone and try incorporating my own illustrations into my designs. As my first packaging project, I learned from many mistakes and continue to make updates and come up with new ideas for these designs. The main aspect I wanted to focus on with this concept was keeping it environmentally safe. To do this I created the seeds out of seed paper, that way the consumer can plant the paper leaving no waste behind. The terracotta pots are one of those pots that you can bury in the dirt and over time they dissolve in the dirt in that way the person planting it doesn’t have to replant outside once they sprout, they just take the pot and bury it in their garden. These are just a few ways I keep the carbon footprint minimal.
